A two-storey cottage, Chestnut is one of
three set apart from the others in a tucked away location but with easy
access to all facilities. It has a suntrap garden with beautiful views
from the patio across the valley. The light and airy accommodation
comprises a huge, open plan sitting/dining room with a wood-burning stove,
a superbly equipped kitchen with dishwasher, one double and two twin
bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. The master bedroom has an en-suite
shower room and there is an additional toilet on the ground floor. The
extra space in Chestnut makes it ideal for families. .
There are a few cottages that have a certain
something which makes the visitor feel relaxed and far away from life’s
troubles. Whatever it is, Chestnut has it in abundance. Time and again our
guests comment on the sheer joy of being in this peaceful environment with
beautiful views, lots of wildlife, sunshine on the patio (sadly not
guaranteed) and plenty of space inside to appreciate friends and family
without getting on top of one another.
