Roger found a leaflet about Clovelly in the Information Folder left for us in the cottage. We thought it looked interesting and so headed off to find out more.

We arrived at the visitors centre and were nearly blown over getting out of the car. I was worried that Jack would be cold in the shorts he’d insisted on wearing and headed to the shop to try and find something warmer for him. The lady serving inside said that it was around ten degrees colder down at Clovelly so we decided to risk it!

We headed down the steep cobbled streets and eventually arrived at the harbour. It certainly was warmer in the village and we were ready for lunch and chose the quayside pub The Red Lyon – seafood all round!
