Enjoy a lazy lunch in the garden or just relax after
a day on the beach and enjoy a drink watching
the sunset.
|
Bramblewood 's rear garden is on two levels, with
the higher level backing onto the large play
field. There are views of the surrounding countryside, and plenty of
space to relax.
|
|
The higher lawned area has
many herbaceous borders full of flowers for much of the year,
from spring bulbs and polyanthus through lilac, hebes, flaming
red crocosmia, Japanese anemones and winter flowering heathers.
Behind the garden, through the gate and
just into the meadow is a series of further borders full of
flowers to tempt you to wander through them over to the
children's play area on the far side.

There is a gate at the rear of the
garden to allow children to wander over to the
adventure play area while adults can relax in the garden and keep a eye
on them from a distance!
|
|
The secluded side garden higher
is a sun trap during the day , but shaded later for enjoying a
delicious evening Barbeque.
A colourful red escallonia
hedge has grown to cover the side fence which borders a field
belonging to the Manor House.

Full of character, this old gate is in the wall of the car
park.
|
Gates have been fitted to the
paths on both sides of the cottage, and the gardens are now enclosed
with toddler proof fences, and so that you can relax in the garden
with a drink, and not worry about your toddlers escaping around the
front of the cottage!

|
At the front of
Bramblewood is a large sunny terrace overlooking the
Trevalgas Farm Cottages complex, and over the surrounding
countryside. There are tubs, troughs and borders providing a
colourful place to sit on the bench and enjoy a morning
coffee in the sun. |

Gardens just outside the Games room
|
There are plenty of open areas with fuchsia and escallonia
hedges grow. This area just opposite the Games room is full
of borders and colourful most of the year, thanks to the
mild Cornish climate and protection from the surrounding
trees. |
